The Black Watch Castle and Museum is operated by The Black Watch Regimental Trust, a registered Scottish charity. Our mission is to support Black Watch veterans and their families through welfare, comradeship and the preservation and promotion of the Regiment’s history and ethos. Every visit, purchase and donation helps us continue this work and keep the legacy of The Black Watch alive.

The Black Watch Museum

Explore the Black Watch Castle and Museum’s galleries in depth and uncover over 300 years of the Regiment’s history. The galleries feature uniforms, medals, weaponry and personal stories that highlight the Regiment’s role in Scottish and global history.

Join one of our daily guided tours to gain expert insights and hear the stories behind key artefacts, from famous battles to the Regiment’s modern-day role. When visiting, your ticket will be automatically upgraded to an Annual Pass at no additional cost, giving unlimited access for a full year.
