The Black Watch Castle and Museum has been awarded the Volunteer Friendly Award in recognition of its accomplishment in supporting and valuing their expanding volunteer team.
Anne Kinnes, CEO, The Black Watch Castle and Museum explains, “It is incredibly important to us that our volunteers are well supported and valued. The Volunteer Friendly Award has provided a useful framework to help us design rewarding and quality experiences for our volunteers.
Lidia Dye, Development Officer with PKAVS states, “It is great to once again see an organisation like The Black Watch Castle and Museum achieving the Volunteer Friendly award.  They continue to value it as a process of checking out their good practice when including volunteers.”
The Volunteer Friendly Award is a nationally recognised accolade developed by Dundee Volunteer Centre which rewards organisations who evidence that their volunteer management practice provides effective induction, training, development opportunities and ongoing support and recognition for their volunteers.
