The Black Watch was an elite military Regiment whose history stretches back almost three centuries. This website aims to provide comprehensive information on everything 'Black Watch' from the history of the Regiment to its current activities and exists to celebrate and sustain that unique heritage and tradition.

This collection of figures are copies of sculptures by Charles d'Orville Pilkington Jackson.
The selection held by the Museum pertain to The Black Watch. They are part of a larger collection of figures depicting soldiers from all Scottish Regiments. A more complete collection of the figures is owned by National Museum Scotland, and is on display at The National War Museum at Edinburgh Castle.
