The Black Watch was an elite military Regiment whose history stretches back almost three centuries. Home Headquarters is saddened to have to report the death of ex Cpl Jim (Tinky) McLaren.'Tinky' as he was known was 77 years of age, died today (Thursday) 8th January 2009 after suffering a heart attack. He served with 1BW in Korea & Kenya, leaving the Battalion in 1970.
